During my recent weekend getaway at Hosteria Los Laureles, I was pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was, despite a language barrier with the owners. The individually decorated rooms were bursting with character and flooded with natural light, creating a cozy backdrop for my stay. Although our twin room was compact, it was just right for the two of us, complemented by a surprisingly spacious bathroom with a fantastic shower – a true luxury after long days exploring the Cantabrian coast. Breakfast was a daily highlight, crafted with local flavors and served in a delightful communal dining area. From the fresh baguettes to the invigorating orange juice, every bite felt like a reaffirmation of my love for simple yet nourishing meals. Plus, the short five-minute stroll to Trengandín Beach was the perfect excuse to enjoy those serene coastal moments. Here, every detail seemed to foster a connection with the beauty of the local landscape and community, making it an ideal retreat for fellow nature enthusiasts like myself.
